Google Ads for dental clinics

Patients search for a treatment, not a clinic. I build the account around implants, braces, veneers and whitening — in English and Arabic — so every search lands on the right page.

What makes dental different

Every treatment is its own market

Someone pricing implants and someone with toothache at 9pm are searching for different things. One generic campaign cannot serve both, so each treatment gets its own keywords, ads and bids.

Two languages, one market

In the UAE many patients search in Arabic. The keywords and ads have to be there too, or the clinic simply does not appear for them.

The page matters as much as the ad

A great ad sent to a generic homepage wastes the click. Each treatment ad points to a page about that treatment.

Case studies

Real accounts I have run. Every figure is from the account itself.

Took over a stagnant account and delivered 3.2× more leads on the same budget — cost per lead down 69%.

2,275Conversions delivered
3.2×More vs. previous managers
46 AEDCost per lead (from 148 AED)
9.89%Avg. CTR (industry avg 5.44%)

What I did

  • Rebuilt the account from 3 generic campaigns into 10 service-specific campaigns — implants, orthodontics, whitening, veneers, cleaning, emergency and general dental — each with its own keywords, ad copy and bid strategy
  • Built and managed 271 keywords across English and Arabic to capture the full Ras Al Khaimah market, including Arabic-speaking residents
  • Matched bidding intent to funnel stage per service — cost-research keywords, near-me search intent and emergency/urgent queries each handled differently

On an almost identical budget to the previous management (105,493 AED vs. 106,308 AED), the rebuild delivered 2,275 conversions — 3.2× more than all previous managers combined — while cutting cost per lead from 148 AED to 46 AED and lifting CTR from 6.39% to 9.89%, well above the 5.44% dental industry benchmark.

1,827 patient leads for a premium Dubai clinic — peak months hit a 44.7% conversion rate.

1,827Patient leads
76.85 AEDCost per lead (78% below benchmark)
44.74%Peak conversion rate
197Leads in a single month

What I did

  • Ran 10 service-specific campaigns — general dental, implants, braces, veneers, whitening, cleaning and pain management — each with dedicated keywords and ad copy
  • Built and managed 427 keywords across English and Arabic, including premium cosmetic terms (Hollywood Smile, Smile Makeover) converting at 25–33%
  • Diagnosed the conversion-rate plateau and rebuilt targeting and landing-page alignment per ad group rather than adjusting bids alone

The account generated 1,827 leads at 76.85 AED per lead — 78% below the 185–350 AED industry benchmark. After a plateau, sustained optimisation drove conversion rate from single digits up to a 44.74% peak, with the best month alone delivering 197 leads, the account’s highest total.

Common questions

How many campaigns does a dental clinic need?

Usually one for each treatment you want more of: implants, braces, veneers, whitening, emergency and general dentistry. The Ras Al Khaimah clinic below went from 3 generic campaigns to 10 service-specific ones.

Do you run dental ads in Arabic?

Yes. Both UAE clinic accounts below run English and Arabic keywords side by side — 271 on one account and 427 on the other.

What does a dental lead cost?

It depends on the city and the treatment. On the two UAE accounts below, cost per lead ran from 46 AED to 76.85 AED, against a common industry range of 185–350 AED.
