Sentence case usually wins

Headlines in sentence case tend to read as human. Title Case reads as a press release. If you are writing an ad, an email subject line or a landing page headline, sentence case is the safer default — it feels like a person talking rather than a brand announcing.

About Title Case

Real title case does not capitalise every word. Short joining words — a, an, the, and, or, of, in, on, to — stay lowercase unless they start or end the title. That is what the Title Case button above does. If you genuinely want every word capitalised, use the "Capitalise Every Word" option.

Why UPPERCASE hurts you

Beyond looking like shouting, it is measurably harder to read: we recognise words partly by their shape, and capitals flatten every word into the same rectangle. Google Ads rejects headlines in full capitals for exactly this reason. Genuine acronyms — SEO, ROI, PPC — are fine.

Common questions

Does it keep my line breaks?

Yes, for sentence, title, upper, lower, capitalise and alternating. The programming cases (camel, snake, kebab) join everything into one token by design.

Can I undo?

The box on the left never changes, so your original is always there. "Use as input" copies the result across when you want to chain two conversions.

Does it handle accented characters?

Upper, lower, sentence and title case handle accents correctly. The programming cases strip them, because slugs and variable names need plain ASCII.

Is my text sent anywhere?

No. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is stored.
